2008 Negotiations Update
UPDATE: 6-13-2008
The negotiation package was ratified by the GESPA Membership at a Mass Meeting on June 10th, 2008
The ratification of the contract brings us one step closer to the end of the 2008-2009
Negotiation Session. The package will now go before the Granite School Board on Tuesday June17, 2008 for their approval. You can

UPDATE: 5-26- 2008 (11:00am)
We have the Mass meeting scheduled for Tuesday June 10th at West Lake Jr.
High it will begin at 5:00PM and will be held in the auditorium to ratify the negotiated deal this year.

We are in a tentative agreement with the District right now. We are trying to set a mass meeting for Tuesday June 10th
location TBA.
UPDATE: 4-20-2008
The Association will begin the negotiation process on May 8th. They will begin only with bluebook issues. Money
will be discussed at a later date.
UPDATE: 3-26-2008
The GESPA negotiations team will meet on March 27th prior to the Mass Meeting at Eisenhower Jr. High. The team will also be meeting
with Jay Blain (GEA), Nancy Jensen, and Stacey Banks (GAEOP) along with USEA Labor Rep. Nan Kirkpatrick for a working lunch on April 7th in
the District Office. They will be discussing the alignment of all three groups policies on leave.
This year the "Blue Book" is open for negotiations.
